What I Wore: Girls Night Out

Happy Hump Day!

Today I’m throwing it back to an outfit I wore just before Christmas. It was all going on over the festive period so it completely slipped my mind to write up the posts to go along with the photographs that were taken. Not wanting to discard them into the ‘unused’ folder, I thought you might find some style inspo with this outfit choice.

In the winter it takes a lot for me to find the motivation to get dressed up for the evening, it’s all about cosy knitwear and boots when the temperature drops. I’ve found that the only way to get out of this rut is to put together an outfit with style and comfort, layers are key! A skater skirt, black tights and boots are my go-to when it’s chilly outside, paired with minimal makeup and loose waves it’s an easy way to take you from day to night – just add a bright lipstick for a quick transformation.

Choosing an outfit that takes you from am to pm means you haven’t got to think about what to change into after a long day at work, taking you from the office to the bar without the fuss – the only difficult decision you’ll be making is choosing what to drink!

What is your go-to outfit for an evening out in winter time?
